Calaveras Big Trees State Park
Home to the Giant Sequoia’s, the largest trees in the world, this state park is truly incredible. With short and long trails there’s plenty to check out.
White Pines Lake
Only 12min up the road from Murphys this small lake is great for hanging out, swimming, or rent a paddle board or kayak.
Columbia State Historic Park
Check out this historic gold rush town filled with activities and novelties, Just a short drive down the hill from Murphys
Murphys Community Park
Right off main street this little park is well shaded and great place to hang out, or cool your feet in the creek.

A Note About Wine Country
Typically when people think of California wine country, their minds almost instantly drift to Sonoma or Napa County. However, there are many undiscovered gems of wineries and vineyards all across California, and Calaveras County is one of the most exciting! Wine grapes are one of the top agricultural commodities in the Sierra Nevada foothills, particularly in Calaveras County.
Wine Tasting
With over 2 dozen tasting rooms on Main Street alone there’s so many options to try out! We really enjoyed our time at Brice Station Vineyards. & Gossamer Cellars.
The Red Apple
Famous for their Apple Cider donuts, this sport off Highway 4 is a great stop for all the tasty baked goods.
Olive Oil Tasting
Try a ton of different olive oil and balsamic flavors. Sit out in the courtyard and try your favorites with some bread, or enjoy some gelato and affogatos!
Murphys Pour House
A chill largely outdoor space pouring up local beers and great vibes. Great spot to hang out!
The Watering Hole
A spacious brew pub offering plenty of local beer and serving up great food. Great for larger parties!
Firewood Restaurant
A mix of wood fired pizza and tacos this spots great for lunch or dinner with plenty of seating.

This Mexican / Italian restaurant is located directly across the street from our venue!

For fun vibes and live music drop in and check them out, open till 10pm on weekends.
